MV Huhn consists of three photographers, who are the complete package. They are creative and passionate about their art, and want to make your experience as enjoyable as possible, with memories that you’ll cherish for many years to come. They are:
Virginia’s love for photography began at a young age. She would watch her father and grandfather take pictures, and eagerly wait for the development process to be finished to see the pictures come to life. This inspired her to become a photographer. She began taking formal photography classes in 1999, where she met Kristy. Through this process the two learned a lot and developed a passion for the process of truly watching your creativity come to life.
Virginia has worked with children for almost 20 years and has a way of making even the most challenging of situations become ones that will create a positive outcome.
Mark began his photography journey in front of the camera. In the 1980’s, he was a model for Schottensteins department store. This skill is useful when it comes to helping someone who is uncomfortable in front of a camera. He has a natural way of putting people at ease, in order to capture the best image. Mark is a phenomenal photographer, who works to find the best angle for that special picture that will leave an impression you will be proud to display.
She and Mark Huhn have been married since 2007, and both have a love for the arts.
Kristy is married with three boys, two of whom keep her on her toes! Like Virginia, she was also a creative child who fell in love with the art world. She discovered her passion for photography in high school, when she took classes with Virginia. Her first love was an old, beat up Canon SLR from the 1970’s, a gift that once belonged to her mother. The old Canon was built to last, with amazing, precise lenses that had her falling in love with macro-photography.
Kristy’s passion inspired her to continue her education and take photography classes at Columbus State Community College and the Fine Arts program at Wright State University.
Her focus is on nature, land and city –scapes, macro-photography, and candid photography, but she is also experienced with portrait, wedding, memorial, children, and pets. She does fairly well under pressure and is certain to be prepared for most unfortunate situations.
